Mr. Rafe Salman Rifat is currently working as a Lecturer, in the Department of Pharmacy at United International University, Bangladesh. He obtained his Bachelor of Professional Pharmacy (Hons.) degree from the Department of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka in the year 2019 and Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Chemistry degree from the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, University of Dhaka in the year 2020 with 2nd position. He joined United International University as a Lecturer in July 2024. He had carried out his master’s thesis on Phytochemical and Biological investigation on Pajanelia longifolia. His research interests include medicinal chemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, computational chemistry etc. He competed and was awarded in several Pharma Olympiad at inter university level. He has received the National Science & Technology (NST) fellowship for his thesis research in masters program. He had also continued working as a Research Assistant (RA) obtaining University Grants Commission (UGC) funds in two research projects under his thesis Supervisor.
